I'm Derek and I'm a UX/UI designer currently based in the Bay area. I have recently graduated from DesignLab's UX Academy and now have the skills and confidence to pursue a career in design.
Having an educational background in business and finance, I was able to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. Over the last five years I've worked in the hospital industry where I've gained a deeper understanding of empathy. I am currently immersing myself into all things design.
